Top AI Courses in Kerala for a Better Career in 2026-2027

The best AI course in Kerala depends on your goal and your qualification. After 12th or with any degree (even an unfinished one), start with a short applied AI course. With a BTech or a science degree, an AI/ML engineering course or an MTech/MSc in AI fits. This guide compares 18 programmes with fees, duration and eligibility.

Top AI course options in Kerala for a better career in 2026-2027: AI and automation, AI video creation, Claude certification, AI digital marketing, government and academic programmes

The best AI course in Kerala for your career in 2026-2027 depends on two things: what you want to do with AI, and the qualification you have today. You may want to use AI in daily work, build automations, earn a vendor certification, become an AI/ML engineer, or lead AI change in a company. This guide compares 18 programmes from Brain Cyber Solutions, ASAP Kerala, ICT Academy of Kerala, IIT Palakkad Technology iHub, Digital University Kerala, IIM Kozhikode, NPTEL and LBS Centre, with duration, fees, eligibility and who each one suits.

The short answer

  • Fastest route to job-ready AI skills without coding (12th pass and above, any degree): a short practical course such as the Certified AI Digital Marketing & Automation Course (2 months, Rs. 25,000 + GST) or the AI Business Automation Course, MCAIS (42 days, Rs. 25,000 + GST current batch fee).
  • A certification from an AI company itself: Claude Certified Associate – Foundations (CCAO-F) or Claude Certified Architect – Foundations (CCAR-F) exam training, 21 days each.
  • An AI/ML engineering career (BTech, BSc or other science degree): ASAP Kerala's AI & Machine Learning Developer course (540 hours, Rs. 40,000), ICT Academy of Kerala's Certified Specialist in AI & ML (500 hours), or a Digital University Kerala MTech or MSc (2 years, Rs. 2,10,000).
  • Managers and senior professionals: IIM Kozhikode executive programmes, from Rs. 1,55,000 + taxes (20 weeks) to Rs. 3,15,000 + GST (30 weeks).
  • Trying AI before you pay: free NPTEL courses from IITs and IISc (Rs. 1,000 only if you take the certification exam), or LBS Centre's 40-hour AI Coder course for school students (Rs. 2,500).

Every external fee, duration and date below was checked on the provider's own website on 21 October 2026. Fees and batch dates change often, so confirm with the provider before you pay.

Disclosure: this guide is published by Brain Cyber Solutions, which runs five of the programmes listed. Each external programme is described only from its official page, linked in the Sources section.

How to choose an AI course in Kerala

Pick the course by the job you want next and the qualification you have, then check these points before you pay.

  1. Outcome. "AI user" skills (prompting, content, automation) are learned in weeks. "AI builder" skills (Python, machine learning, deep learning) take 5 months to 2 years.
  2. Eligibility. Engineering-track programmes usually ask for a degree, often in science, engineering or computer science, and degrees ask for minimum marks. Most applied AI courses need only a plus two pass and basic computer skills.
  3. Credential type. A university degree, a government skilling certificate, an IIM certificate, an AI-vendor certification and a private institute certificate are different things. Ask who issues it and whether it is given for attendance, for passing an assessment, or for an external exam.
  4. Practice. Look for live projects, an internship or a capstone you can show to employers. A portfolio often matters more than the certificate.
  5. Total cost. Check whether GST and exam fees are included, and whether practical work needs paid tool subscriptions, API credits or cloud usage. Several programmes below charge exam fees separately.
  6. Trainers. Check that trainers do the work they teach: development or research for technical courses, live client implementations for automation and marketing courses.
  7. Career support. Ask exactly what "placement assistance" means. Support is not a guaranteed job or salary, and no course can promise one.

Which AI course can you join with your qualification?

AI courses after 12th (plus two)

After 12th, you can join applied AI courses that need no degree and no coding: Brain Cyber Solutions' Certified AI Digital Marketing & Automation Course (2 months, offline in Kochi), the AI Business Automation Course (MCAIS, 42 days online) and the AI Video Creation Course (MCAIV, 15 days online). Free NPTEL courses are also open to you. Government AI/ML courses at ASAP and ICTAK usually ask for a degree or enrolment in one.

AI courses for degree students (while you study)

Degree students can study AI alongside college. ASAP Kerala's AI & ML Fundamentals accepts students from the first year, and its AI & Machine Learning Developer course accepts current college students with a bona fide certificate. Applied courses such as MCAIS and MCAIV run online, and free NPTEL courses fit around semesters.

AI courses for any degree: BA, BCom, BBA or BSc

With any degree, you do not need an engineering background to start a career in AI. Applied AI courses (AI digital marketing, business automation, AI video) and the CCAO-F training need no coding. Any graduate can also join ICTAK's Mastering Digital Marketing with AI, and Digital University Kerala's MSc Computer Science (AI) accepts any bachelor's degree with 60% marks.

AI courses for BTech and engineering students

BTech students and graduates have the widest choice. For an AI/ML engineer path, choose ASAP's AI & Machine Learning Developer (540 hours), ICTAK's Certified Specialist in AI & ML (500 hours) or IIT Palakkad iHub's Advanced AIML programme, then a Digital University Kerala MTech in AI (BTech with 60%). Developers can add CCAR-F training for Anthropic's Claude Certified Architect exam.

AI courses for diploma holders

Holders of a 3-year diploma can join ICTAK's Certified Specialist in AI & ML (engineering diploma) and ICTAK's Mastering Digital Marketing with AI (any 3-year diploma). IIM Kozhikode's Product Innovation programme accepts 10+2+3 diploma holders. Applied AI courses at Brain Cyber Solutions accept diploma holders with no technical requirement.

AI courses for degree failed, discontinued or BTech dropouts

If you failed or discontinued a degree or BTech, choose a skill-based AI course that does not ask for a degree certificate. Brain Cyber Solutions' applied AI courses accept plus two pass learners, and they end with projects and a portfolio, which employers often value more than marks. Free NPTEL courses are a low-cost way to rebuild confidence before you pay for training.

AI courses for working professionals and business owners

Working professionals can learn AI without leaving their job. The CCAO-F training runs on weekday evenings, MCAIS and MCAIV are live online, and IIM Kozhikode's programmes are designed for working schedules. Business owners usually get the fastest return from the AI Business Automation Course (MCAIS), which builds lead generation, WhatsApp and CRM automations.

AI courses for school students

High school students can try AI before choosing a stream. LBS Centre's AI Coder course (40 hours, Rs. 2,500) teaches Python basics and simple AI projects in PictoBlox. Free NPTEL courses are open to anyone who wants to explore the theory. These are introductions, not career training.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best AI course in Kerala in 2026?

There is no single best course; it depends on your goal. For quick, job-ready applied AI skills, a short course such as Brain Cyber Solutions' 2-month Certified AI Digital Marketing & Automation Course fits. For AI/ML engineering, ASAP Kerala's AI & ML Developer course or a Digital University Kerala MTech in AI fits. For leadership roles, IIM Kozhikode's executive programmes fit.

Can I do an AI course after 12th in Kerala?

Yes. Applied AI courses such as Brain Cyber Solutions' Certified AI Digital Marketing & Automation Course, the AI Business Automation Course (MCAIS) and the AI Video Creation Course (MCAIV) need no degree and no coding; a plus two pass and basic computer skills are enough. Free NPTEL courses are also open to anyone. Most government AI/ML courses ask for a degree or at least enrolment in one.

Which AI course is good for degree failed or discontinued students?

Choose a skill-based course that does not ask for a degree certificate. Brain Cyber Solutions' applied AI courses accept plus two pass learners, including people who failed or discontinued a degree or BTech, and end with a portfolio you can show to employers. Free NPTEL courses are another low-risk start.

Which AI course is best for BTech students and graduates?

For an AI/ML engineering career: ASAP Kerala's AI & ML Developer course (540 hours, Rs. 40,000), ICT Academy of Kerala's Certified Specialist in AI & ML (500 hours) or a Digital University Kerala MTech in AI (BTech with 60%). Developers can also prepare for Anthropic's Claude Certified Architect (CCAR-F) exam.

Can I join an AI course with any degree like BA, BCom or BBA?

Yes. Applied AI courses need no technical degree. Any graduate can also join ICT Academy of Kerala's Mastering Digital Marketing with AI, IIM Kozhikode's Product Innovation with AI programme, or apply for Digital University Kerala's MSc Computer Science (AI), which accepts any bachelor's degree with 60% marks.

Are there government AI courses in Kerala?

Yes. ASAP Kerala offers online AI courses such as Generative AI and Prompt Engineering (Rs. 21,000) and AI & Machine Learning Developer (Rs. 40,000). ICT Academy of Kerala runs AI and AI-marketing programmes, one with IIT Palakkad Technology iHub Foundation. Digital University Kerala offers MSc and MTech degrees in AI, and LBS Centre runs a 40-hour AI Coder course for school students.

How much does an AI course cost in Kerala?

Published fees in October 2026 run from free (NPTEL learning, Rs. 1,000 per optional exam) and Rs. 2,500 (LBS AI Coder), through Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 40,000 for applied and skilling courses, to Rs. 2,10,000 for a 2-year DUK degree and Rs. 1,55,000 to Rs. 3,15,000 plus taxes for IIM Kozhikode executive programmes.

Can I learn AI without coding?

Yes. The Certified AI Digital Marketing & Automation Course, MCAIS, MCAIV, CCAO-F training and both IIM Kozhikode programmes need no coding. ASAP's AI & ML Fundamentals course also starts Python from zero. Most engineering-track courses at ASAP, ICTAK and DUK expect programming, maths or a technical degree.

Is there an AI course in Malayalam?

Yes. Brain Cyber Solutions' AI Business Automation Course (MCAIS) and AI Video Creation Course (MCAIV) are taught live online in Malayalam, so Malayalis in Kerala, the Gulf and elsewhere can join. The CCAO-F training runs batches in Malayalam or English.

Which AI courses are offline in Kerala?

Brain Cyber Solutions' Certified AI Digital Marketing & Automation Course runs its classroom month in Edappally, Kochi. ICT Academy of Kerala runs an offline AI & ML batch at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, and Digital University Kerala degrees are full-time on campus in Thiruvananthapuram.

Is a certificate enough to get an AI job?

Rarely on its own. Employers look for proof that you can do the work, so choose a course with live projects, an internship or a capstone, and build a portfolio while you learn.
