The problems we solve

Does this sound familiar?

These are the everyday challenges we help businesses solve.

  1. You cannot list where personal data sits

It is spread across forms, spreadsheets, phones, CRM, email and ad platforms.

  2. You do not know what to fix first

The Act covers a lot, and a small team cannot do everything at once.

  3. Old data is kept forever

Enquiries and staff records from years ago are still sitting in sheets and inboxes.

  4. Too many people can see everything

Shared logins and open sheets mean you cannot say who accessed what.

Who this is for

Businesses that know the DPDP Act matters but are not sure where they stand, especially those with customer data in several tools. It also suits management teams that need a clear, honest picture before they spend on anything else.

What we look at

We follow your data from the moment it arrives: ad forms, website forms, WhatsApp chats, phone calls, walk-in registers and staff records. Then we look at where it goes next, including your CRM, spreadsheets, accounting software, agencies and AI tools.

Why this comes first

You cannot write an honest privacy notice, or set retention rules, until you know what you hold. Businesses that skip this step often end up with polished documents that do not describe what actually happens.

What to do next

After the assessment, most businesses move to implementation support and technical implementation. See all our DPDP compliance services.

Questions

Questions about the DPDP initial assessment

What is data mapping?

It is a clear record of what personal data you collect, why, where it is stored, who can access it, who you share it with and how long you keep it. Almost every other DPDP task depends on it.

What is a DPIA, and do we need one?

A Data Protection Impact Assessment looks at the risks of how you process data. The Rules require it of organisations notified as Significant Data Fiduciaries. For others it is optional, but useful for higher-risk work such as AI or health data.

Do we have to fix everything with you?

No. The plan is yours, and your own team or other vendors can carry it out. We can also do the work through our documentation and technical services.

Can this be done remotely?

Yes. Most of the work can be done through online meetings and shared documents. On-site visits can be arranged where useful.

Is the report legal advice?

The assessment is a compliance review done with Vectis Trust, not a legal opinion. If you need legal advice on a specific point, we bring in a lawyer from our panel. This page is general information.
