The problems we solve

Does this sound familiar?

These are the everyday challenges we help businesses solve.

  1. Nobody knows where the personal data is

Customer and staff data sits in forms, sheets, phones, CRM, WhatsApp and ad tools, with no single list.

  2. Your privacy notice no longer matches what you do

A copied policy does not describe your real tools, purposes or retention.

  3. Consent is not recorded anywhere

If someone asks when they agreed to your messages, you cannot show it.

  4. Advice stops at a report

A legal report tells you what to change, and then nobody changes the systems.

  5. Staff do not know the rules

One careless export or forward can undo the rest of your work.

  6. Vendors handle your data without clear terms

Your agencies, software and AI tools process personal data, and you stay responsible.

Who this is for

Any business in Kerala or across India that holds customer, patient, student or staff data: clinics, schools and institutes, real estate firms, retailers, IT companies, agencies and professional firms. It also suits companies abroad that serve people in India.

Why start now

The main duties apply from 13 May 2027. That sounds far away until you count what has to change: data has to be found, notices rewritten, consent recorded, vendors reviewed, systems changed and staff trained. Documents can be written in weeks. Changing how your CRM, WhatsApp and website work takes longer.

What makes us different

Most DPDP help is either legal or technical. We bring both. Vectis Trust, a privacy compliance and AI governance firm, defines what is required and oversees the work; its co-founder Jayapradeep Jiothis is a Certified Data Protection Professional and ISO/IEC 42001 auditor. Brain's technical teams then make the changes. And because Brain also runs digital marketing, SEO, automation and AI work, we understand the places where personal data really moves: ad forms, WhatsApp, CRM, analytics and AI tools.

How the work runs

We start with what you actually do with data, not with a template.

  2. Plan

You get a prioritised list: what must change, who owns it and by when.

  3. Document

Privacy and legal professionals prepare notices, consent wording and policies for your real processes.

  4. Implement

Technical experts build consent, opt-outs, data requests and retention into your systems.

Your team learns what to do, and we stay available as rules and tools change.

Questions

Questions about DPDP compliance services

What is the DPDP Act?

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 is India's data protection law. It covers how organisations collect and use digital personal data. The DPDP Rules, 2025 were notified on 13 November 2025 and apply in phases.

When do businesses have to comply?

The main duties, including notice, consent, security safeguards, breach reporting and individual rights, apply from 13 May 2027. Rules on registering consent managers apply from 13 November 2026, which does not mean every company must appoint one. Starting early leaves time to change systems, not only documents.

Does the DPDP Act apply to small businesses?

Generally yes, if you handle digital personal data such as customer names and phone numbers. The size of your business can affect how penalties are assessed, but it does not remove the need to handle data properly. Your exact duties depend on your situation.

What are the penalties?

The Act sets maximum penalties for specific breaches, up to Rs. 250 crore for failing to take reasonable security safeguards. The amount in any case depends on the breach and the Data Protection Board's process.

Do you only advise, or do you implement too?

We do both. Vectis Trust brings the privacy compliance expertise and oversight, lawyers associated with Vectis Trust and Brain handle the legal side, and our technical and AI experts build the changes into your website, CRM, WhatsApp, forms and automation. Many firms stop at guidance; implementation is where we come in.

How much does it cost?

It depends on your requirement. The initial assessment starts from Rs. 35,000 + GST, implementation support from Rs. 75,000 + GST, DPO and Grievance Officer as a service from Rs. 35,000 + GST a year, and corporate training from Rs. 25,000 + GST a day. We agree the scope in writing before starting.

Can you guarantee we will be compliant?

No one can honestly guarantee that. Compliance depends on how your business keeps operating, and it stays your responsibility. We help you get DPDP-ready and stay ready. This page is general information, not legal advice.
