3-Month vs. 6-Month Digital Marketing Course: Which Length Should You Choose?
A 3-month course gives you a structured start, a 6-month course gives you more depth, and a short intensive course with a real-project internship can give you job-ready skills faster. This guide compares course lengths and explains why Brain Cyber Solutions now runs a 2-month course.
Digital marketing is a skill that opens doors to jobs, freelancing and business growth. Courses in Kerala come in many lengths, from a few weeks to six months or more, and the length on the brochure says little about what you will actually be able to do at the end.
This guide compares the common course lengths, explains what each one suits, and shows why we at Brain Cyber Solutions now run a shorter, more intensive course instead of the 3-month and 6-month courses we used to offer.
What a 3-month course usually gives you
A 3-month course is the most common format for beginners.
Typical format: classes on weekdays, 1 to 2 hours a day, often online.
What you learn: the basics of SEO, social media, Google Ads, Meta Ads, content and analytics.
Who it suits: freshers who want a structured start, and business owners who want to market their own business.
The catch: with 1 to 2 hours a day spread over three months, there is often little time left for real projects. Many learners finish with notes but without work to show.
What a 6-month course usually gives you
A 6-month course goes deeper into each topic.
Typical format: the same short daily classes, spread over a longer period, sometimes with case studies and assignments.
What you learn: the same areas in more depth, often with strategy, reporting and certification preparation.
Who it suits: learners who cannot give more than an hour a day and want a slower pace.
The catch: six months is a long time in digital marketing. Tools, Google updates and AI features change while the course is running, and motivation tends to drop in the middle.
Why length alone is the wrong question
What makes a course worth the money is not the number of months, but three things:
Hours of practice. Four focused hours a day for a month can add up to more practice than one hour a day for three months.
Real projects. Employers and clients want to see work you have done, not only a certificate.
Current tools. In 2026, digital marketing is done with AI tools in every area: search, content, ads, automation and reporting. A course should teach those, not only the methods of a few years ago.
How Brain Cyber Solutions does it now: 2 months, intensive
Month 1: offline classroom training in Ernakulam, 4 hours every day, from 2 PM to 6 PM.
Month 2: an online internship on real projects, with mentor review.
What you learn: website creation and Shopify, SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Meta Ads, workflow automation with n8n, WhatsApp API and CRM integration, and analytics with GA4, Search Console and Tag Manager. AI tools are used in every area.
Batch size: a maximum of 30 students, with a new batch every month.
Fee: Rs. 25,000 + GST for the full two months. You can pay by EMI or instalments, UPI, credit card or debit card.
After the course: placement assistance and ongoing support through a WhatsApp group.
Which option should you choose?
Choose a 2-month intensive course with an internship if you can attend daily classes for a month and want job-ready skills and a portfolio quickly. This is what our Ernakulam course is built for.
Choose a longer part-time course if you can only study an hour a day alongside a job, and you are fine with a slower pace.
Tell us your background and what you want to do after the course, and we will tell you honestly which option fits. Contact us or message us on WhatsApp.
